Jaquez, listed as day-to-day by the club, will miss Monday's game at Brooklyn and Wednesday's contest at Toronto.
Jaquez left in the second quarter of Sunday's 104-87 victory over the Hornets after scoring 15 points in the first quarter.
"He is not going to travel," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Sunday. "It's his groin. He says and his trainers say it's not as severe as the one earlier in the season."
The Heat return home Friday to play the Atlanta Hawks.
Jaquez is averaging 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 39 games (15 starts) this season. He was the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for October/November and December.
