Hector Olivera Involved In Domestic Dispute At Virginia Hotel [Updated]
Atlanta Braves outfielder Hector Olivera was arrested this morning in connection with a domestic dispute at a hotel in Arlington, Va. WJLA reported the news first.
A spokesperson for the Arlington Police Department said that officers responded to the Ritz-Carlton at 6:51 a.m. and found a woman who had been assaulted and had visible bruising. Olivera stayed on the scene and was placed under arrest.
Olivera hasn’t been formally charged. The 31-year-old is expected to show up at the Arlington County Magistrate today.

Update (7:30 p.m.): Olivera was charged with one count misdemeanor assault and battery, ABC 7's Jeff Goldberg reported. His bond was set at $10,000, which he posted before leaving town.
