Here's The Contract Steve Masiello Signed With USF
In case you were wondering, here is the contract current former suspended Manhattan College basketball coach Steve Masiello signed with South Florida before it found out he never graduated college. As is often the case, the devil is in the details.
The contract, a five-year deal worth over $1 million annually before bonuses, was signed by both parties and set to kick in tomorrow, April 1. That is, unless USF found out within 30 days of signing that any part of his résumé and educational credentials in his online bio were misrepresented. (Article 10, on page 4 in the contract below.) Whoever added that clause deserves a raise.
