Here's Video Of Messi's Pretty Goal From Today's Barca-Arsenal Match
FC Barcelona defeated Arsenal 3-1 this evening in Camp Nou. Lionel Messi scored twice — first on this pretty self-assist over the goalkeeper's head just before halftime, and second on a penalty kick in the 71st minute of play. With a 4-3 lead over Arsenal on aggregate, Barcelona will now go on to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal played one man down after Robin van Persie was thrown out in the second half after a controversial second yellow card for "delaying time." He was called offside on a breakaway, and kicked the ball away after the whistle, which he claimed not to have heard over the din of nearly 100,000 drunk, screaming Spaniards. Likely story!:
