Holy Shit, The Canadiens Traded P.K. Subban
Photo: [object Object] Minutes after the Oilers sent Taylor Hall to the Devils for Adam Larsson, the Montreal Canadiens traded P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators for Shea Weber in a one-for-one trade. The hockey stove is so fucking hot.
Subban’s contract lasts through 2022 and would have triggered a no-movement clause on July 1, so the Canadiens chose to move him and avoid paying his escalated salaries for the next four seasons. Instead, they’ll take Weber, and his contract that lasts until he’s 39 years old. Michel Therrien won out.
