Hoo Boy, Something's Up With Matt Harvey
Mets pitcher Matt Harvey has been scratched from his scheduled start tomorrow, and is a very big question mark to be ready to go for opening day? Why? It’s a big ol’ mystery, but, uh, prepare to panic, probably.
Here, have a bunch of ominous tweets.
Harvey started a split-squad game last Thursday and went three innings, giving up seven hits and walking four while striking out two. There is a hot take currently being delivered in the Deadspin work chatroom that Harvey is only the Mets’ fourth- or fifth-best starter, which seems crazy to me. One thing is for sure: this is a dark day for Qualcomm.
