It Sucks To Be Kevin Love, But At Least He Didn't Actually Get Left Hanging
If you’re a basketball fan who has been on the internet this morning, you’ve likely seen a Vine that appears to show Kevin Love attempting to high five LeBron James, and then getting mercilessly left hanging.
That Vine is very funny, but also false! Love wasn’t looking for any affirmation from James, he was having a heated discussion about the previous play. In a longer clip, you can see that Love puts his hand in the air to demonstrate a basketball move:
The fact that a lot of people just assumed Love had been coldly snubbed in the middle of a game speaks to just how dreadful of a night he had. While the other two members of Cleveland’s Big Three were going off for a combined 82 points and saving their season, Love turned in two points and three rebounds in 33 depressing minutes. He’ll have a shot to redeem himself in Game 6, but given how his two seasons in Cleveland have gone, there’s a good chance the game will end with him tripping over his own shoe laces as he biffs a game-winning layup.
