It's Johnny Football Time, Again
Johnny Manziel’s punishment for his Schrödinger’s nightclub video has come to an end. The Browns and head coach Mike Pettine have resigned themselves to naming him the starting quarterback.
Manziel will make his fourth start of the season after quarterback Austin Davis turned the ball over twice and threw no touchdown passes in Sunday’s 37-3 loss to the Bengals. Via the team’s site:
“Johnny will be our starting quarterback on Sunday,” Browns coach Mike Pettine said. “He’s been solid in the building over the last couple of weeks and we are hopeful he takes this opportunity to continue to build on the progress he’s made on the field throughout the season. The goal for every game is to go out and win, and Johnny needs to show that he can put us in position to do so during these last four weeks of the season.”
Only four more games until this miserable campaign is over.
