J.J. Watt Offers To Pay Funeral Costs For Santa Fe High School Shooting Victims

A relatively minor concern for those victims’ families and friends will be how to foot funeral costs for their loved ones, but this news will nonetheless ease their terrible burden somewhat: Texans star J.J. Watt, whose philanthropic generosity towards his professional hometown is well-established, has reportedly offered to pay the funeral expenses of those killed.
Watt famously raised $37 million in donations for help with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, which devastated Houston last August. Watt’s offer to pay for funerals for the Santa Fe victims was reportedly confirmed by a Texans spokesperson. The team also released a statement:
