Syndication: Florida Times-UnionJacksonville Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker (44) runs off the field after the game of an NFL football matchup at EverBank Stadium, Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, in Jacksonville, Fla. The Jaguars defeated the Texans 17-10.

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker is expected to be a game-time decision on Monday night versus the visiting Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Liam Coen told reporters Saturday.

"We're gonna go right down to the wire with it," Coen said. "I trust that if he says he can go, then we'll go."

Walker underwent wrist surgery on the heels of sustaining the injury in Sunday's 26-21 win at San Francisco. He was back at practice on Saturday, wearing a cast/club on his left hand after missing Thursday and Friday's practices.

Walker, 24, has recorded 2.0 sacks and 12 tackles in four games (all starts) this season.

If Walker is cleared to play Monday, he could wear a protective brace and be under snap-count limitations.

The fourth-year defensive end was the No. 1 pick in the 2022 draft out of Georgia. He also had surgery during his freshman season in October 2019 to repair a broken wrist but returned to play for the Bulldogs a few weeks later.

The Jaguars picked up Walker's fifth-year option for the 2026 season worth $14.7 million.

Walker has played in every game (38 consecutive starts) since the beginning of his second NFL season in 2023. He missed two games as a rookie and has compiled 26 sacks in 53 career regular-season games.
