Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports Jake Paul took down Mike Perry on Saturday night, winning by TKO in the sixth round of a cruiserweight boxing match in Tampa, Fla.
After previously knocking Perry to the floor twice, Paul put an end to the fight with a barrage of punches near the ropes that included a pair of left hooks followed by a right jab that put Perry on his back.
Perry sat up and caught his breath before rising to his feet. When he tried to walk along the outskirts of the ring, he stumbled, prompting the referee to wave off the match.
"You did a great job, you were way too fast for me and I couldn't adjust," Perry said.
Paul is now 10-1 with seven knockouts. The social-media influencer added Perry to his list of former UFC fighters that he has bested, with Paul also outlasting Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
According to CompuBox punch stats, Paul landed 96 punches to Perry's 33 and had 52 of his 142 jabs connect.
"He's tough as nails ... but I just hit too hard and he took a lot of damage," Paul said. "Mike Tyson, you're next. ... It's anyone, anytime, anyplace."
Paul is set to face Tyson on Nov. 15.
