Jalen Ramsey Won't Hesitate To Get Ejected Again
[object Object] If there’s one thing you need to know about Jaguars rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey, it’s that he hates being disrespected on the football field. If there’s another thing you need to know about him, it’s that he is a great source for juicy postgame quotes.
Just a few weeks after stirring up some shit with Steve Smith and then getting all sassy about it in the locker room, Ramsey was up to the same stuff on Sunday. After shutting down Raiders star receiver Amari Cooper for most of the game, Ramsey was ejected for fighting in the fourth quarter. Reporters later gathered around Ramsey’s locker to receive what would surely be a doleful apology.
Instead, Ramsey made it clear that he’ll do the same thing if given another chance:
The best part of this clip is Ramsey dramatically glancing over his shoulder to make sure that no PR person was within earshot of his answer. There’s a good chance that in five years Ramsey will be beaten down and giving canned answers like every other player in the league, so enjoy him now, while he’s young and expressive and angry.
