James Harden Game-Winner Sinks Warriors
The Golden State Warriors fought back from a 17-point Rockets lead to take their first lead of the game with just over a minute left. After a crazy back-and-forth that saw Michael Beasley hit two huge free throws, Ian Clark show up as a legit clutch option for the Warriors, and some horrific transition defense, James Harden ended things with this late jumper. Draymond Green then dribbled the ensuing inbounds pass off his leg and that was that.
Harden had a phenomenal game with 35 points, eight boards, and nine assists. Golden State successfully hacked Dwight Howard out of the game late, but they didn’t hit enough shots to take the win (Klay Thompson went 0-for-7 from three). The Rockets will try to even things up in Game 4, which is on Sunday.
