Jaroslav Halak Makes Stupendous Back-Of-Head Save
It can be hard to remember sometimes that, despite looking like overweight babies swaddled in three too many layers, hockey goalies are amazing athletes with great hand-eye coordination and reflexes. Islander goalie Jaroslav Halak displayed all that—and a healthy dose of luck—when saving this Aleksander Barkov shot in the second period of last night's game against the Panthers. Somehow he managed to deflect the puck up with his right blocker, and then pin it against the crossbar with the back of his head. Incredible.
