Jason Whitlock Lectures Colin Kaepernick At Presser, Gets Ignored
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took questions after Thursday’s game, in which he continued his pregame protest by kneeling during the national anthem. One of them came from a familiar, condescending voice.
At 2:36 of the clip, Jason Whitlock, of Fox Sports 1's hit show All Takes Matter, got an opportunity to jump in the postgame conference. He really made the most of it.
“Does any of that fall on you in terms of articulating a clear message?” Whitlock asked, before talking to Kaepernick as if he were a writer at The Undefeated receiving editing notes. “You’ve said ‘police brutality.’ You’ve said ‘a lot of issues.’ That’s not that clear. If you’re gonna make this type of bold stand, and you want people to talk about the issues, you have to lay out the issues clearly.”
Kaepernick started to answer, but another reporter began his question. Whitlock stood there, representing Fox.
