Jay Paterno: The Freeh Report Contains "No New Facts," Just "Some New Interpretations Of Things"
In all seriousness, I can't imagine how difficult today must be for the Paterno family. That said, at this point, it's probably best for all of them to decline to comment further. Paterno's son, Jay, went on SportsCenter about an hour ago and dismissed the findings of the Freeh Group as "really an opinion," which you can see in the video above. "Joe has been the only leader in this entire situation up until today to say with the benefit of hindsight he wished he had done more," Jay Paterno said. "Obviously, Joe has felt like he wished he had known more, so he could have done more." Guess the rest of us will just have to keep waiting for the facts. [ESPN]
