Jazz F Lauri Markkanen (hamstring) set to return vs. Knicks

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen is available to play against the visiting New York Knicks on Wednesday night after missing the past eight games with a left hamstring strain.

Markkanen hasn't played since Nov. 22 and will be limited to 20-25 minutes against New York, per Jazz coach Will Hardy.

Utah scuffled without Markkanen, going 3-5.

A first-time All-Star a season ago, the 26-year-old Markkanen has averaged 23.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in 15 games this season. He is shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from beyond the arc.
