Jeremy Maclin Appears To Injure Leg, Comes Right Back In
Jeremy Maclin, who missed all of last season after blowing out his ACL, went down with a non-contact injury early in the second quarter against Pittsburgh tonight. It looked ugly, like his knee hyperextended and buckled, and he was on the ground grabbing his knee for a while. But no need to fear the worst, Maclin was able to walk off under his own power. He even got back in the game and made a catch minutes later.
It was a scary moment for the Eagles, though, who are thin at receiver after releasing and losing DeSean Jackson to the Redskins in free agency. The Eagles top targets, Maclin and Riley Cooper, have both dealt with injuries this summer, but both are playing tonight. Backing them up are Ifeanyi Momah and Arrelious Benn, neither of whom played at all last year.
