Jerry Manuel Is Back, Baby!

The Mets rolled into D.C. today, hell-bent on losing another series while Frank Francisco nearly blows a big lead in the third game. (Can we call them "meaningful games in September" if they're meaningful only because scientists are investigating a new condition called Jason Bay Disease?) Anyway, reports ESPN's Adam Rubin, Terry Collins went to pick up his rental car and found that it was registered to Jerry Manuel, who ceased to haunt Mets fans after the 2010 season. Or so we thought.
