Morgan Barron scored the tiebreaking goal in the second period to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday.

Mark Scheifele and Cole Perfetti also scored for Winnipeg, which saw its three-game losing streak end in the win. The Jets improved to 7-5-1 on home ice.

Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves for his 11th win of the season and career win No. 249.

Connor Bedard scored the lone goal for the Blackhawks, who have dropped back-to-back games. Arvid Soderblom stopped 25 shots in the loss. Chicago drops to 4-9-0 on the road.

Barron gave the Jets their first lead at 6:23 of the second, beating Soderblom five-hole for his fourth goal of the season.

Perfetti made it 3-1, re-directing a Dylan Samberg point shot past Soderblom at 10:06 of the third. With the secondary assist on Perfetti's ninth goal of the season, Declan Chisholm, who made his season debut, picked up his first career NHL point.

Winnipeg outshot Chicago 6-5 in the opening 20 but the sides were tied 1-1 after one.

Bedard opened the scoring at 4:39 of the first period, one-timing home the rebound off Philipp Kurashev's shot for his 11th.

With the goal, Bedard, the NHL's Rookie of the Month for November, extended his road point streak to eight games. The 18-year-old has eight goals and four assists during the streak.

Scheifele responded for Winnipeg on a power play, one-timing a Gabriel Vilardi feed past Soderblom for his eighth of the season at 10:43 of the first.

Blackhawks forward Anthony Beauvillier, acquired in a trade with the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, made his Chicago debut, playing on a line with Bedard and Kurashev.

Winnipeg center Vladislav Namestnikov missed his first game due to a lower-body injury suffered in Thursday's loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
