Joel Embiid Is Not Happy After Tonight's Sixers Loss

Joel Embiid cleared concussion protocol yesterday—nearly three weeks after he initially landed in said protocol by smacking heads with teammate Markelle Fultz and fracturing his orbital bone—but the Sixers center was still on the bench for tonight’s Game 2 against the Heat. He’s apparently not too thrilled about that.
Philadelphia’s 17-game win streak came to a halt this evening, with Miami leading for the entire second half en route to a 113-103 victory. Shortly after the game ended, Embiid posted a message reading “fucking sick and tired of being babied” to his Instagram story:

Meanwhile, right about the same time that Embiid was posting the above, head coach Brett Brown was talking about how clear it was tonight that the team needs the 24-year-old All-Star:
Brown did not share much about the Instagram post when asked, but he did acknowledge that he had a conversation with Embiid about it:
Game 3 is Thursday; the team has not yet made an official statement on whether Embiid will play.
