Joel Embiid Will Pass On Rihanna, Thanks

It’s been more than three years since Joel Embiid offered up this tidbit about his love life, with the woman in question widely thought to be none other than Rihanna, due to his long-standing public crush on her and habit of tweeting about it:

Flash forward to now, with Embiid recently named an All-Star—a starter, at that—and, you know what? He has the self-respect to say that if she didn’t think he was good enough for her back then, why should he be willing to accept an offer from her now? He’ll pass.

It’s not certain that Embiid is the first man ever to reject Rihanna, but there’s no evidence to the contrary.
