John Calipari Called Into Mike Francesa's Show To Yell At Him
Today on his radio show, Mike Francesa was talking some shit about Kentucky men's basketball coach John Calipari. "He's not a classic X's and O's guy," he said in his particular way. Francesa then took a call from "John in Kentucky," who wanted to defend coach Cal's abilities. Turns out, "John in Kentucky" was actually John Calipari.
There's not really a whole lot to the exchange, just two guys kind of talking over each other, but you have to give Cal credit for calling in to defend himself. You also have to give Francesa credit for never, ever dialing back his smugness. Eventually, Calipari either hangs up or is dropped from the air by Francesa.
Don't worry too much about the two beefing, though. Calipari says they're all good:
Sweet parting burn, too.
