Jonathan Quick Makes An Outstanding Kick Save While On His Stomach
Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick—or more accurately, his right leg—prevented a sure Winnipeg goal near the end of Saturday's Jets-Kings game.
While Quick was lying prone from anticipating a shot too quickly, he popped his right leg up just in time to stop Blake Wheeler's flick at the net. Basically, Quick's leg by itself is better than a whole Ondrej Pavelec.
The goalie's leg secured a 4-2 win for the Kings.
