Jonny Gomes Takes Ball To The Face, Still Earns Outfield Assist

Consider this the opposite of Jackie Bradley, Jr.'s catch.

Jonny Gomes—he of questionable fielding—took a baseball to the face tonight courtesy of Tyler Flowers, though the Red Sox left fielder recovered quickly enough to start a relay and get Chicago's Alejandro de Aza out at home.
