Kaspars Daugavins Goes To The Well Once Too Often, Can't Convert On Bizarre Spin-O-Rama
Senators winger Kaspars Daugavins came up empty on this weirdo shootout attempt where he controls the puck by exerting force from above with the tip of his blade.
He slides the puck in this unwieldy manner all the way from center ice and then attempts a spin-o-rama that actually may have worked had he been controlling the puck normally.
And why would a person even try this? Because it's actually worked for him before. Albeit in an AHL game over two years ago. But, still, it's worked before. See for yourself:
Tuukka Rask was not so easily fooled and David Krejci followed up Daugavins's miss with the game winner as the Bruins beat the Senators 3-2.
