Keith McCants Got Arrested On Crack-Related Charges Again
In 1990, the Tampa Bay Buccanners made Keith McCants the number four pick in the NFL draft. Didn't really work out. Yesterday, he logged his sixth drug-related arrest since Feb. 2008.
Here's what the St. Petersburg Times had to say about it...
McCants was pulling out of Tina's House of Angels, 3080 34th Street N., about 12:15 a.m. [and was pulled over] because he failed to stop while leaving a private drive, said police spokesman Mike Puetz. They also noticed that McCants and a passenger, Christina Shamika Campbell, 28, were not wearing their seat belts.
After they stopped the car, police saw a crack pipe in the center console of McCant's 1999 Chevy Tahoe. After searching the vehicle, police found one piece of crack in Campbell's purse.
From the due-diligence research files:
Ten dancers were arrested on nudity charges at a St. Petersburg club Wednesday night, Pinellas Sheriff's deputies reported Thursday. The arrests occurred at Tina's House of Angels. ... "Alcohol was being served and body parts that should have been concealed were exposed," said sheriff's spokeswoman Marianne Pasha. [ Jan. 2001]
