Knowshon Moreno Faces DUI Charges After Being Pulled Over In Bentley With "SAUCED" License Plate
Knowshon Moreno, the former Georgia star and current Broncos backup, was pulled over on suspicion of DUI February 1, last Wednesday.
According to the citation, Moreno, 24, was driving a Bentley convertible when he was pulled over on southbound Interstate 25 near Quincy Ave. for going as fast as 70 miles per hour in a construction zone.
The posted speed limit was 45 mph.
The officer smelled alcohol and Moreno did poorly on a roadside sobriety test.
Police say they administered breath test, arrested Moreno for DUI, and then took him to detox. Police say Moreno was "very respectful and polite."
The Bentley has personalized license plates that read "SAUCED."
Moreno lost his starting job this season and then got hurt. Presumably that cut down on the time he could spend with Tim Tebow. And the whole episode proceeded tidily from there.
