Kris Bryant Nails Top Of Wrigley Scoreboard With 477-Foot Bomb
Kris Bryant has been hitting great since his ignominious introduction to the big leagues. He was batting .282 with six home runs before tonight’s game, and his OPS was 24th best in the majors, which is fantastic for a rookie.
But this ... this is a freaking howitzer. If that ugly monstrosity of a scoreboard didn’t exist, this ball might’ve travelled all the way to Wisconsin.
And maybe it’s just me, but have there been an unusually large number of bombs hit this year? It could just be all Giancarlo Stanton, but it really does seem like an abnormally large number of 450 foot and longer home runs have been hit.
