Lance Berkman Is Sick Of All This Goddamn Tolerance
Lance Berkman, a bigoted Mr. Potato Head who learned how to play baseball, recently cut a political ad against an anti-discrimination ordinance that was up for a vote in Houston, Tex. Berkman was against the ordinance because it would allow “troubled men who claim to be women” to enter women’s bathrooms. The ordinance was voted down in this week’s election, and now Berkman has more stupid things to say.
Berkman went on a local radio show to discuss his foray into politics, and he had a lot to say about the “online persecution” he endured after releasing the ad, his duty as a Christian to “make a stand for Christ” against the LGBT agenda, and the ills of tolerance. Here are some of those thoughts:
To me tolerance is the virtue that’s killing this country. We’re tolerant of everything. You know, everything is okay, and as long as you want to do it and as long as it feels good to you then it’s perfectly acceptable do it. Those are the kinds of things that lead you down a slippery slope, and you’ll get in trouble in a hurry.
Okay, Lance.
