Leafs Draw Series Even With Double-OT Win Over Capitals
A back-handed pass from Brian Boyle to Kasperi Kapanen set up the game-winning goal 11:53 into the second overtime period, evening the Toronto-Washington series at a game apiece.
The Capitals, of course, won Game 1 in a single OT; we’re looking forward to a triple-OT Game 3.
