Sometime between LSU coach Les Miles asking his stylist for a "Ronald McDonald" and the Tigers stomping the Aggies in the Cotton Bowl, the mysterious plane here landed in Baton Rouge. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
Miles swears — through his quarterback, Jordan Jefferson, no less — that he's staying at LSU and "hasn't spoken to anybody, anything about Michigan." But why, then, is he even bringing up Michigan? Think about it. He must have been tipped off about that plane. Same goes for the LSU athletic department, which was clearly so rattled by the plane's appearance that it released a formal statement today denying any contact with Michigan.
"I have not been contacted by anyone from the University of Michigan about Les Miles," said Joe Alleva, the LSU Athletic Director. "Les Miles is LSU's head coach."
But is he? Think about it. There's a plane at the airport with a Michigan logo. Les Miles has dyed his hair a suspicious shade of red. And now comes word he is "in touch" with Jim Brown. DOES THAT MEAN SOMETHING?
