Let's All Belt Out Sia's New Ballad "Bird Set Free" Together

Last night on Facebook, Sia offered us the beautiful ballad “Bird Set Free,” a new single off her upcoming album, This Is Acting. How soon until we can get this one on the books of our local karaoke establishments?

This Is Acting is out January 29, and includes songs that the Australian singer/songwriter and Deadspin staff favorite originally intended for the likes of Adele, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and other pop-music heavyweights. This one in particular begs you to belt it out, even if you don’t have a Sia-caliber voice: “I don’t care if I sing off-key / I find myself and my melodies / I sing for love, I sing for me / I shout it out like a bird set free.” Hell yeah, let’s do this, because after five listens, I’m extremely motivated to conquer the entire freakin’ world.
