Le'Veon Bell Isn't Being Subtle
Photo: Joe Robbins/ [object Object] The Steelers have been busy keeping their own and adding to their roster this offseason. Don’t think running back Le’Veon Bell hasn’t noticed.
Wideout Antonio Brown, left tackle Alejandro Villaneueva, and head coach Mike Tomlin have all received contract extensions. This week, the Steelers traded for 49ers tight end Vance McDonald and signed cornerback Joe Haden. Today, general manager Kevin Colbert agreed to a deal that will keep him with the team through 2020.
Bell, who has yet to sign his franchise tender, seems happy that the guy who hasn’t given him a new contract has earned a new contract:
The running back also made his not-so-understated point with an image from teammate Ramon Foster, along with a short rap directed at teammates Brown and Bud Dupree:
Bell had previously suggested he’d return to the Steelers Sept. 1, which is tomorrow.
