Little League Football Assistant Coach Viciously Slaps Referee After Disputed Call

Meet Dion Robinson: a 43-year-old ex-con and soon to be former assistant football coach in a youth football league in West Park, Florida— weird. Specifically, Robinson has been arrested over 12 times and has pled no contest to charges including "cocaine delivery, indecent exposure and unlawful use of a false name" and served time for robbery, according to state records.

What you see in the video is the immediate aftermath of a disputed call in a game between Robinson's West Park Saints and the Miramar Patriots made by our victim, Andrew Keigans. Keigans threw a flag for unsportsmanlike against the Saints for some off-color remarks made by the coaching staff and things went a little haywire.

After he threw the flag, Keigans turned around an bumped one of the players and moved the player to the side to talk to one of the other referees, the report said. The assistant coach, who disagreed with the penalty, barged the field and confronted Keigans as he was held back by head coach Antonio Lane, the report said. Because the assistant coach left the sidelines and entered the field of play to confront Keigans, the head referee decided to end the game, the report said.

It is at this point that Robinson goes full nutso. You can hear in the video as some lady notes "look! He's comin' after him!" And he does. He comes all the way across the field and essentially sucker punches the referee in front of dozens of tweens and their parents.
