Lonnie Chisenhall Was Playing With Cheat Codes Last Night

Indians third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall entered last night's game against the Rangers with four home runs and 23 RBI. He left the game with seven home runs and 32 RBI, because he was basically playing a video game.

Chisenhall went 5-for-5 last night, launching three home runs and driving in nine runs along the way. He yanked all three homers to right field: the first on a changeup over the middle of the plate, the second on high sinker tailing away from the plate, and the third on a backdoor slider on the outer half.

Chisenhall is only the fourth player since 1920 to have at least five hits, three home runs, and nine RBI in a single game. The last player to hit those marks was Fred Lynn in 1975. Chisenhall's batting average now sits at .385 (he's still a few at-bats short of qualifying for the league lead), and his historic night had him feeling pretty good during the game:
