Louisville And Kentucky Pregame Scuffle Includes Bobby Petrino
Louisville and Kentucky's football teams aren't as good as their basketball brethren, but that doesn't make the in-state rivalry any less heated. Before today's Governor's Cup showdown—and Kentucky's penultimate shot at getting the sixth win necessary to become bowl eligible—things got a little lively, with players from both teams shoving each other.
The confrontation never progressed beyond your typical baseball benches-clearing posturing, but Louisville coach Bobby Petrino did get into it with a Wildcats assistant coach. A photographer for Kentucky's student paper captured this great shot:
