Luke Donald Is Sorry For Calling A Golf Course Architect A "Cock" On Twitter

On Saturday, Luke Donald, frustrated with a bogey on the 18 at TPC Boston, sent out two tweets without looking very closely at which box he was typing in: his cell phone number, and another, in which he called the guy who designed the course "a cock."

Within minutes, Donald realized his mistake and deleted both tweets. By then, a few bloggers had captured them and posted them on the Internet.

Hanse was very magnanimous about being called a cock by a guy with about 300,000 Twitter followers, saying, "Everything's cool," which it probably generally is, when you design golf courses for a living.
