Madison Bumgarner Socked Another Madison Bumdinger
In the top of the fifth inning of today’s game against the Braves, Giants ace Madison Bumgarner came to the plate with no outs, a man on first, and the scored tied at zero. Almost every other pitcher in the majors would have been asked to lay down a bunt in that situation, but Bumgarner isn’t like most pitchers. Instead, he was allowed to swing away, and that turned out to be a very good decision.
