Marlins Continue Begging Other Teams To Rob Their Clubhouse
Photo Credit: Kathy Willens/ [object Object] Time for some wholly unsurprising news! The Marlins front office’s brazen salary dump is continuing apace. Days after trading Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees in exchange for a handful of trampled sunflower seed husks and one (1) cup of moist infield dirt, they’re now reportedly shifting their focus to moving some of the roster’s remaining talent.
Here’s their sales pitch: You won’t have to give us very much to get Marcell Ozuna, less than you would have to give to get Christian Yelich, so please feel free to just come take him.
A front office that definitely is motivated by something other than its own craven greed. For sure.
