Matt Williams Rear-Ended By Hit-And-Run Driver During Radio Interview

Nationals manager Matt Williams's weekly spot with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 The Fan was a little more eventful than usual this morning, when his SUV was rear-ended by a driver being chased by police.

DC Sports Bog takes a break from Lady Gaga coverage to bring you the audio and a transcript of the incident. It sounds like the hit-and-run driver was boxed in, tried to leave his car, then gunned it, hitting Williams and another motorist before taking off with cops in hot pursuit. Also, there was a helicopter.

When Williams finally got to the ballpark, he told reporters the hit-and-run driver had been arrested. Here's the audio of his busy morning:
