Max Stassi Took A Fastball Off His Chin
It has been a rough day for baseball players' faces. Wednesday afternoon, Jason Heyward took a 90-mph fastball to the face. A few hours later, nearly the same exact thing happened to Houston's Max Stassi with the bases loaded.
Heyward left the game with a broken right jaw and could miss up to six weeks. We're not sure the extent of Stassi's injuries—he was taken to a local hospital—but he's had a rough go of it since making his debut Tuesday night. Though it's not all bad: he got his first RBI.
