Memphis bounces back in overtime vs. No. 16 Clemson

Colby Rogers added 22 points while PJ Haggerty chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Memphis (8-2), which shook off Sunday's 13-point home loss to Arkansas State. Dain Dainja scored 11 off the bench.
Viktor Lakhin scored 23 points with 11 rebounds for Clemson (9-2), which had its six-game winning streak snapped. Ian Schieffelin and Chase Hunter each had 17 points, followed by Jaeden Zackery's 11 and Dillon Hunter's 10.
Hunter's 3-pointer with 1:56 left in overtime gave Memphis an 80-78 lead, before Zackery answered with a 3-pointer to give Clemson a one-point advantage at the 1:39 mark.
Hunter hit another triple with 54 seconds left, giving Memphis an 83-81 lead and they never trailed again. After Schieffelin split a pair of free throws, Memphis made all four of its foul shots in the final 15 seconds to ice the win.
Leading by one at halftime, Memphis saw its lead grow to 40-32 with 18:34 remaining as Hunter's 3-pointer capped a 7-0 spurt to start the second half.
Another Hunter triple pushed Memphis' lead to 43-34 at the 17:15 mark, before Schieffelin's deep 3-pointer stamped Clemson's 12-2 run, flipping the lead with 11:35 remaining. From there, Haggerty's three-point play followed Moussa Cisse and Baraka Okojie's layups, giving Memphis a six-point lead at 52-46 with 10:42 left.
Nicholas Jourdain's 3-pointer pushed Memphis' lead to 59-51 with 8:21 remaining, before Clemson answered with an 11-0 run for a 62-59 lead, spanning 4:15.
Memphis' scoreless stretch was snapped with Rogers' fifth 3-pointer, knotting the score at 62-62 with 4:06 left. Lakhin's free throws and Zackery's triple gave Clemson a five-point lead. With 1:33 left, Dainja's layup cut Memphis' deficit to two, before Chase Hunter answered with a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession.
Rogers hit another 3-pointer just 13 seconds later before Dainja's layup with 20 seconds left sent the game to overtime.
Memphis jumped out to a 10-0 lead, stamped with Rogers' mid-range jumper at the 14:30 mark.
Lakhin's 3-pointer marked Clemson's first points with 14:16 remaining, sparking a 12-4 run to trim Memphis' early lead to two.
After Rogers' six straight points for Memphis pushed its advantage to 27-20, Clemson took its first lead on Schieffelin's triple with 1:55 remaining. Zackery's 3-pointer with 1:05 left was answered by Hunter's buzzer-beating triple, giving Memphis a 33-32 halftime lead.
