Michigan Blown Snap On Final Play Of Game Hands Win To Michigan State [UPDATE]
Michigan State found victory in the most unlikely of circumstances when the Spartans returned a botched long snap on the final play of the game to turn what the world assumed would be a 23-21 Michigan win into a 27-23 loss. This is absoutely bonkers.
The Wolverines led nearly the entire game; Michigan State’s first lead came on this very play, with the clock reading 0:00. We’re suddenly less impressed with Michigan’s punter.
Also, #RIP Sean McDonough’s voice.
Update (7:52 p.m.): Here’s how it sounded on Russian television.
Update (8:00 p.m.): We can only conclude this injury happened as his teammates piled upon him in the end zone.
