Former Michigan Player Tagged Jim Harbaugh In Series Of Vaguely Threatening Tweets [Update]
credits: Andy Lyons | source: [object Object] Last night, former Michigan linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse sent a series of semi-threatening tweets, including one in which he tagged Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh. The tweets have since been deleted; thanks to the quick-thinking folks over at Reddit CFB, you can view screenshots of the tweets below:
It’s unclear, for now, what issues Mbem-Bosse was trying to vent about, though the part about him being suspended seems to be true, as he is no longer listed on the Wolverines roster. Michigan did not respond to Deadspin’s request for comment. We will update this post if and when they do.
[Update 8:56 a.m.]: Michigan emailed us last night, saying Mbem-Bosse “left the football program in mid-November and is no longer with the team.” The post has been updated to reflect this fact. Additionally, MLive.com has since reported that University of Michigan police are investigating the tweets; nobody has been arrested or charged, as the investigation is ongoing.
