Miguel Sano Pop-Up Hits Roof, Gets Caught
Photo credit: Chris O’Meara/ [object Object] Twins third baseman Miguel Sano earned a dubious honor today, becoming the first player to ever hit the roof of the Tampa Bay Rays stadium in fair territory:
Unfortunately for Sano, Evan Longoria tracked the ball off the roof and caught it for an out:

This wasn’t Sano’s first experience with the ground rules while playing against the Rays. Last year he walloped the ball into one of the catwalks, teaching everybody that there were different rules for the A- and B-Ring catwalks and the C- and D-Ring catwalks.
