Mike Francesa Is Not Happy With His Fox Sports Partners
Mike Francesa's afternoon WFAN talk show simulcast moved from YES to Fox Sports 1 six weeks ago, bringing the longtime New York voice to a national audience—that is, when not pre-empted for Champions League soccer on the nascent News Corp (err, "21st Century Fox") network.
That pre-emption happens two to four times a week these days, and while Francesa played big man on campus around YES in the afternoon, he's second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo and John Terry on FS1. He voiced his frustration in response to a caller today, saying Fox Sports has "dropped the ball," and that "they have not done their job":
Francesa's off TV again today, as UEFA Europa League play is being carried on both FS1 and FS2.
