Josh Lowe, Mike Trout and Zach Neto homered to help the visiting Los Angeles Angels to a 6-2 win against the Houston Astros in the second game of their four-game series on Friday night.

The Angels have won their first two games of the season for the first time since 2007, and their first two road games for the first time since 2004.

Trout, who also homered in the opener, added a pair of singles, Lowe and Neto also doubled and Nolan Schanuel had two singles and two walks for the Angels, who won 3-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Angels starter Yusei Kikuchi allowed two runs and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings. The left-hander struck out three and walked one.

Chase Silseth, Ryan Zeferjahn, Sam Bachman and Jordan Romano combined to blank Houston without allowing any hits over the final 4 2/3 innings.

Yordan Alvarez homered, Jeremy Pena had two hits and scored a run and Carlos Correa also contributed two hits for the Astros.

Houston starter Mike Burrows (0-1) went 5 2/3 innings, allowing five runs and nine hits while striking out six and walking two.

Neto doubled off the wall in center to start the game. Trout looped a single to center, putting runners on the corners before Schanuel grounded into a double play, scoring Neto for a 1-0 lead.

Pena singled to left to start the bottom of the first. He stole second with two outs, took third on a wild pitch and continued home when the throw from home got away from third baseman Yoan Moncada, tying it 1-1.

Kikuchi needed 30 pitches to get through the first inning.

The Angels put their first two runners aboard in the second before Lowe stepped up and blasted a three-run homer to left-center field for a 4-1 lead.

The Angels could not take advantage of lead-off base hits in the third and fourth innings, but Trout started the fifth with a line-drive homer to left to stretch the lead to 5-1.

Alvarez led off the bottom of the fifth with a home run, making it 5-2. Kikuchi recorded the first out of the inning but was pulled after allowing an infield single to Jose Altuve.

Neto homered to lead off the ninth and stretch the lead to 6-2.
