The teams hook up at Dodger Stadium with NL Cy Young favorite Jacob Misiorowski taking the mound for Milwaukee.

Mariners (+104) at Astros - 7:10 p.m. ET

Time is running out for the Mariners (57-66) to make a run towards the postseason after a heartbreaking 10-7 walk-off loss in 10 innings last night.

The Astros (63-60) remain atop the AL West despite beating Seattle for only the second time in nine tries this season.

Emerson Hancock will look to get on track for Seattle, coming off three consecutive losses, capped off by home defeats to the Tigers and Rays.

Hancock picked up a win in his first start against Houston in April, facing an Astros’ lineup owning an xBA of .214 in the past 10 games against right-handed pitchers.

Hayden Wesneski has pitched well for Houston since entering the rotation, but he has also received 6+ runs or support in all three starts.

Diamondbacks (+118) at Braves - 7:15 p.m. ET

Arizona held off Atlanta last night, 2-0 to rebound from a pair of home losses to Colorado. The Diamondbacks (65-58) seek their third straight win against the Braves (73-49), sending out left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez to the mound.

Both he and Atlanta starter Grant Holmes went toe-to-toe in a pitcher’s duel in Phoenix back in April with the Braves grabbing a 2-0 victory. The D-backs own a spectacular 17-4 record in his last 21 starts since that defeat.

Arizona has hit better against left-handed pitching overall this season, but has stepped up against righties recently. Over the last 10 games, the D-backs are striking out at a 16.6% rate (82nd percentile) and post an xBA of .244 (92nd percentile) when facing right-handers.

The Braves are 7-0 in Holmes’ past seven appearances, so something has to give here with these two pitchers and their recent hot streaks. Arizona has won eight of its past 11 road games against right-handed pitchers, including five straight against teams at .500 or better.
