MMA Announcer Fucks Up Fight Decision Not Once, But Twice In The Span Of 15 Seconds
source: [object Object] David Booker won a decision against Elijah Terrell last night at regional MMA event Alaska Fighting Championship 139, which was good news for him. The bad news was that he only learned that he’d won after riding a true emotional roller coaster. The announcer at last night’s fights pulled a rare double Steve Harvey, as he called the result correctly, then got his wires crossed and called them incorrectly, before then correcting himself again and announcing that Booker had in fact won the fight. As he said “My bad!” a dejected Terrell was forced to approach the referee again as his supposed debut MMA win flipped back into a debut loss.
What a shitty way for Terrell to lose his first ever pro MMA bout, though he at least got to experience the thrill of victory for like eight seconds.
